This tour will take you to a number of places that are usually not included in many other tours as it has a special combination of sights and locations all visited within one day. We will pick you up at your hotel around 9am and begin a walk around Eminonu, a popular shopping area for locals and a hive of activity for wholesale and retail shopping.   Our next destination will be the Spice Market itself, otherwise known as the Egyptian Bazaar, where people have been buying herbs and spices for hundreds of years. You will have free time to explore the Spice Market on your own and taste some Turkish delight, 

We then board the ferry to Kadikoy, where on route you will notice the fishermen on the Galata Bridge, and in 20 minutes reach the Asian side of Istanbul, a busy area for young people. In Kadikoy you will get to see how the local people live and visit Kadikoy’s famous fish market where we will have lunch.  We then board the ferry back to the European side.  A trip on the Tunel Station (the second-oldest underground train in the world), takes us up one of the hills of Istanbul, where we will then proceed to visit the outside of Galata Tower.

The tour continues with a walk along the Istiklal one of the most famous streets in Istanbul, a 1.5 km pedestrian thoroughfare to Taksim, lined with many well known clothing shops and cafes, pubs and restaurants.res of nightlife in Istanbul. We will make our way down the hill towards Dolmabahce Palace, and on the way you will be able to view the Besiktas Stadium, home of one of the best football teams in Turkey.

We visit Dolmabace Palace and take a tour of the place where Ataturk died in 1938. The chance to see one of the biggest chandeliers in the world is worth the tour alone and you can enjoy the beautiful Bosphorus view from the palace grounds   The tour finishes after your are taken back to your hotel.
